Restore Lost Power & MPG Engine Tune-Ups & Spark Plug Service

Is your car shaking at idle? Burning more gas than usual? It's time to replace worn ignition components and clean the fuel system.

What is a "Tune-Up" in 2026?

Modern cars don't have carburetors or distributor caps. Today, a "Tune-Up" means replacing the parts that ignite the fuel ( Spark Plugs & Coils) and cleaning the parts that deliver the air ( Throttle Body & Induction).

We use OEM-Grade Iridium Plugs to ensure your engine fires perfectly for the next 100,000 miles.

Our Precision Ignition Protocol

Step 1: Digital Misfire Scan

Before touching a wrench, we scan the engine computer to see exactly which cylinders are misfiring or underperforming.

Step 2: Coil Boot Inspection

We inspect the rubber ignition boots for "carbon tracking"—tiny burn marks that allow electricity to leak out, causing shakes.

Step 3: Gap & Torque

We verify the spark plug gap is factory-perfect and use a torque wrench to install them. Overtightening can crack the cylinder head.

Step 4: Airflow Restoration

We clean carbon deposits from the throttle body plate to ensure smooth idling and crisp throttle response.

Tune-Up FAQs

How often does my car need a tune-up?

Modern spark plugs (Iridium/Platinum) typically last 60,000 to 100,000 miles. However, we recommend cleaning the fuel system and throttle body every 30,000 miles.

Will a tune-up fix my Check Engine Light?

Maybe. If the code is P0300 (Random Misfire), a tune-up usually fixes it. If the code is for an O2 sensor or Catalytic Converter, spark plugs won't help. We always scan the car first to be sure.

Why is my car shaking at red lights?

This is usually caused by a "Rough Idle." It is often due to a dirty throttle body (air intake) or a weak ignition coil. Our standard tune-up service addresses both of these issues.
