Check Engine Light Diagnostics in College Station
Don't Guess. Get the Truth.
A generic scan tool only tells you "what" happened. It doesn't tell you "why." We offer Two Levels of Service
to help you make the right decision for your vehicle.
Option 1: Preliminary Scan
FREEWe Pull Your Codes
We plug in our scanner, tell you the error code (e.g., P0420), and give you a printout.
Option 2: Pinpoint Diagnostic
$75Fee Waived with Repair
We perform lab-scope testing to find the exact failed part and guarantee the fix.
Our Professional Diagnostic Process
We scan the car for free to get the starting point (the P-Code) and check for TSBs via Identifix®.
We visually inspect fuses and wiring harnesses for rodent damage or heat stress before testing complex parts.
Using a multimeter, we test voltage, resistance, and ground at the component to confirm failure.
For intermittent "ghost" issues, we use a Lab Scope to visualize the electrical signal in real-time.
After the repair, we drive-cycle the vehicle to ensure all monitors pass and the light stays off.

Common Diagnostic Questions
Is the code scan really free?
Yes. We will pull your codes and give you a printout for $0. If you want us to perform manual testing to find the cause of the code, that is our Level 1 Diagnostic ($75).
Is the diagnostic fee waived if I fix the car?
Yes. If our Level 1 testing reveals a needed repair (e.g., an alternator or O2 sensor) and you approve the work today, we waive the $75 fee completely. You only pay for parts and labor.
Why is my Check Engine Light blinking?
Stop driving immediately. A blinking light indicates an active engine misfire dumping raw fuel into the exhaust. This can destroy your catalytic converter ($2,000+). Call us.
Can you test my battery and alternator?
Yes. We use Topdon specialized testers to analyze your entire starting and charging system , not just voltage. We find the "ghost" electrical issues.
